New Year, New Opportunities.

First and foremost, everyone at Sitemark would like to wish you a Happy New Year! It’s the start of a new decade so let’s start strong with our first newsletter of 2020, giving you the latest product, news, and event information regarding aerial data intelligence from Sitemark. It was a very busy year with many successes, and one of our biggest achievements was closing the latest round of funding with our existing investor Chroma Investments and Korys (the investment arm of the Colruyt family). You can read more about it in our blog post.

So, what’s included in this newsletter? You can learn about our new product features for Construction such as 3D Annotations, Advanced Volume Measurements and Swipe Control, all moving the bar to bring you the fastest 3D in the industry! The new features deliver dynamically loading technology giving the best experience in speed and quality for drone inspections. Find out about our latest company news, events, webinars and we’ll finish with a bit of fun.

3D Annotations

Users now have the ability to annotate and measure in the 3D viewer taking your measurements to the next level, ideal for the Construction industry.

Advanced Volume Measurements

The advanced volume measurement tool allows users to calculate the cut, fill and net volumes in 2D and 3D. You have the choice of different base surface types such as interpolated, flat minimum, flat maximum and flat custom. These select options are also available in the exported Excel document. We changed the name of the circumference measurement to 2D Perimeter. All new functionality delivers more sophisticated ways to measure in 3D for increased accuracy by better defining volume.

Visual Swipe & Compare

The visual swipe compare improvements allow users to compare between two completed operations of the same site side-by-side. This is critical in determining how site changes evolved over time. This ability to visually manage site progress is very useful for Project Managers in both the Construction and Solar industries.
